Natural Antibiotic – DIY, Easy, and Very Effective

Today I would like to introduce you to a natural antibiotic that you can easily make yourself at home!
A friend recommended it to me and has had amazing results with it in her family and circle of friends. Although I cannot take it myself due to intolerances, I find the recipe and the feedback so promising that I definitely wanted to share it. If some ingredients are not digestible for you either, I will list 2 alternatives below that are very well tolerated by me personally 😉
The natural antibiotic works against a variety of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. It can be taken in acute cases of illness, preventively, or as a cure against chronic yet undetected infections that weaken the body. The preparation is super simple; it just needs to steep for 2 weeks, so you should prepare it in advance.
Ingredients:
- 25g garlic, finely sliced or grated
- 100g onion, finely chopped
- 2 to 4 chili peppers (depending on size), finely chopped
- 30g fresh ginger, grated
- 20g fresh horseradish, grated
- 30g fresh turmeric root, grated
- 1/4 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 750ml raw, unfiltered organic apple cider vinegar
Preparation
It is recommended to wear plastic gloves when chopping the ingredients, as they are all very pungent. Then, put all the solid ingredients into a mason jar and add the apple cider vinegar at the end. Stir everything well. Now let the mason jar sit in a dry, cool place for 2 weeks. Shake it several times a day during this time. After 2 weeks, you can strain everything through a fine sieve so that only the liquid remains, without the solids. Pour this liquid into a sealable bottle and store it in the refrigerator. You can use the solid remains as a spice when cooking.
The natural antibiotic keeps for several months. It should smell fresh and spicy. As soon as the smell or appearance changes, please no longer use the liquid.
Dosage
If you tolerate it, you can take the natural antibiotic straight, as this is how it works best. However, it is very pungent and therefore easier on the stomach when mixed with water. You can start cautiously with a teaspoon, or a tablespoon if you don’t have stomach issues with spicy spices. For acute infections, you can take up to 5 tablespoons distributed throughout the day. If you want to take the natural antibiotic preventively as a cure, you can take 3 tablespoons daily for 21 days (one each in the morning, at noon, and in the evening) and then take a 3-week break. Repeat afterward. If you suspect you have undetected chronic infections, you can also take the natural antibiotic for a longer period. Follow your body’s intuition here; it’s hard to give generally applicable guidelines.
Alternatives to the Natural Antibiotic in Case of Intolerance
If you are like me and this wonderful mixture is too much for your stomach, you can try:
Oregano oil: one to 2 capsules daily; in case of acute illness, you can also take up to 4 capsules.
Black cumin oil as capsules or as oil: take 3 capsules twice daily before a meal, and 1 teaspoon or tablespoon of the oil twice daily. I didn’t tolerate the oil very well, but the capsules very well.
I would also recommend combining oregano oil and black cumin oil. You might want to slightly reduce the total dosage when doing so.
Wishing you good health! 😉
